My parents added “von” and my Dad’s parents family used a long “u” (¯) {Macro on the keyboard.}   I found exactly ONE family in Kentucky with the surname Suck in the last published census records. So my surname, “von Sück” is two generations old.  There are Suck families in Germany, where our family lived before immigrating here in 1830.  My father’s father had two sons, my uncle’s family changed their last name to “Scott”…  So other than my direct family, I cannot locate any relatives, although the original Suck family in Boston (8 children) (all 4 men were professional musicians) lived in Boston. Looking for any relatives, that left Boston before the civil war, and moved South or West, and where they went. Christopher “Kit” von Sück
