We are searching for this ancestor believed to me the first to settle in Ontario. He was eventually given a land grant in 1879 in Renfrew County and we have seen the Land Records, however, there seems to be no trace of him otherwise...no evidence of arrival on passenger lists, not included on any of the Canadian Census list???
