MCINNES, Norbert
Country: Canada ?
State:
Date Submitted: June 26, 2005
Notes:
Norbert McInnes (is) was married to a Adrianne (I think) . She could have been a Lewis or a Doyle but I am not sure about this. They lived in Sommerside PEI Canada until the late 1920's, at which time they moved to a small Alberta town Called Stavely. Norbert was the blacksmith there. Four children, Millicent, Danald Francis (Frank) James Fredrick, (Fred) William. He could also be A James Norbert. Both he and his wife had died before 1930. There was also a brother Called Ronnie, and a grandmother. I have no idea which whose mother she was, Norbert, or his wife. The grandmother died after Norbert and his wife.To my knowledge they are buried in the Stavely Catholic Cemetary, but seems there was no record. I hope someone has some information for me.
ThanYou.

MCINTOSH,
Country: Scotland
State: Clackmannanshire
Date Submitted: September 14, 2005
Notes:
This specific Duncan McIntosh was born in Clackmannanshire, Caithness, Scotland,--either in 1823 or 1832. Sometime in early to mid hood, he moved to Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I do not know if his wife was abroad that ship (I do not even know the ship's name, date of departure and arrival, but would love to know).
He, I know had a son, also named Duncan, but I do not know if there were any other children and their names. I,again would love and appreciate all the help through the Internet AND the mail--Very Soon, please. The junior Duncan McIntosh in this case, had six children--one of which was my mother's stepfather--John Wesley McIntosh, who was born on May 31,1901.
John Wesley McIntosh married twice. The first time was to a Ruth Mills Walden-born in Pontiac, Illinois in 1900-died in 1957, but it was before her 57th birthday (9 months after suffering a stroke). A few later he remarried. The second lady in in his married life was a Cornelia Mosley. I do not know if she had married before,or to who, or when. I heard from my mother that Cornelia was orginally from Georgia, but I'm having trouble verifying this, since since she also could have came from Illinois as well as Georgia.
I wish that I could have more information to fill in the gaps. This is so I can possibly present a stepfamily history/genealogy of my own, along with her niece,in time for either Christmas,or for her next birthday next year, depending how soon we can gather the relevant material, etc.
PLEASE, to ALL who generously take the time to read this: THANK YOU!!!

MCINTOSH, John Wesley
Country: USA
State: Needham, Massachusetts
Date Submitted: August 23, 2005
Notes:
This Mister McIntosh was born in Needham, Massachusetts in late May 1901. I know quite a bit about him, but would very much like to know much more about him and his siblings, parents, grandparentsand all the the relatives that I can get to know--the farther back, the better.
I know that he had at least three older siblings born in Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and at three or four siblings born in the state of Massachusetts. I would very much appreciate have as many sources to please fill in the gaps of any missing information to complete this for me to share with my mother since she was adopted by Mr McIntosh and his first wife, Ruth Mills Walden when she was just a very young child.
I also know that he married a second time--which was a few years after Ruth's funeral-- to a Cornelia Mosley. I hardly know anything about her--when she married Mr. McIntosh--or when Ruth married him, or where specifically where they wwere from, or any of their family history/genealogy. I need all pertinent information to help me get to know my mother's stepfather.
