DOMINGO MADARAS was born abt 1620. In 1640 he owned land in Middlesex Co VA. He had indentured servants and received land for each servant so he had lots of land and he owned many cattle. Don't know who he married but he had a son CARLOS (CHARLES) MADARAS OR MADARIS. Who are Domingo's parents & where was he born?

DOMINGO MADARES (Madaras) was found in Middlesex VA in 1640 & later as a big land holder. He brought many indentured servants to VA & got 50 acres? of land per each one. Don't know whether he was born in VA or Portugal abt. 1600-20 nor do we know who he married--had son CARLOS (Charles) MEDERAS b. 1635 who married MARY TOSELEY.
Charles had son CHARLES who married MARY BEAMON.
They had son Charles who married MARY ELLES.
This Charles had son BENJAMIN MEDEARIS who married Ann. They had son JAMES WILSON MEDEARIS who married MARGARET PEGGY WEST.
They had son WILSON FRANK MEDEARIS who married EVELINE DECATUR YOUNG.
They had son ROBERT ANDERSON MEDEARIS who married AMANDA HINDS
They had son JOHN FRANCIS- "FRANK" MEDEARIS who married MINNIE DOAK GILBREATH. They are my grandparents.

The spelling of the name has changed to Matalone. He is my great grandfather. Died in Delia, Province of Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy 1910. Wife's name was Didaca Diana. Looking for any information about his birth or marriage dates. Trying to take the name as far back as possible.

Notes:
I am looking for any information on a John W. Madden. The 1860 Alabama census says he is in prison and it says he is from Ireland. Is there any additional information available for prisoners in 1860 in Alabama?
