Julius Kamm was b. about 1850 in Mannheim, Germany.He married Heleene Amalie, nee Hertel, b. Saalburg, Germany. They had one son in Canada William. There were two brothers, Julius being one, that immigrated to the States and one stayed in Chicago for awhile and the other continued to Canada. A descendant of the one residing in the States was William Edward Kamm, better known as "Willie" a pro ball player with the Cleveland Indians and Whitesox.
