Civil War VeteranCompany D Feb. 20, 1864, 3rd Regiment of the Minnesota Infantry 1864, at Gettysburg, PA. and was discharged June 8, 1865 at Du Valle Bluff, Ark. He had signed up for 3 years and discharged in 1 year, wounded. Drew a pension#612058 and his wife also drew Oct 15, 1915 under the name of Jaraand Jorgenson and her # 800,184. They had 9 children and live in Winnebago Cty. IA. I would appreciate any info that I could get on my gggrandfather.

Wifes name is Anna Burk, they had the following children:
Alice born 10 Feb 1883 - died 03 Oct 1963 (WI), Ray, Henry, Ben, Tom, George, Fred born 14 Aug 1890 died 29 Apr 1967 (WI), Kitty, Edward, and a set of twins Clarence and Clara. I am trying to find out where the information is on the parents and other siblings. We do not know where in Ireland the family originated from. We are not sure if Anna's last name is Burk or Burke. Any help would be appreciated.

Levi Joyce born 1821 Married in 1850 in Cincinattio, Ohio, USA to Nancy Allen at age 24, Her Birth date 1826 Kentucky. They were married in 1844 per Census in Hamilton County, Ohio. He also had a brother named Michael, born in 1825 in Ireland, He was married to Ellen, also born in Ireland in 1830. Michael had teo sons, John & Thomas. They are on the same census in ohio and lived in the same tenament. Have no idea what county in Ireland, possibly Mayo or Galway. Levi & Nancy had children, Franklin Joyce born May 16, 1848, Married Oct.6,1871 to Ida V. Frisby Joyce. Ida was a Baptist and baptised in Central Bapt. Church, Bridge St, Brooklyn, N.Y on Nov. 25,1877 Ida was born on April 10, 1832, She died March 25, 1898. She lived at 28 Saint Marks Place and died at her residence. They had 3-4 Children. Willard Creighton who died at 23 months of age from Cholers July 9,1879, daughter Florence she aldo died at age 18 Months old and was burried in Friends Cemetary in Cincinatti, Ohio. She had scarlet fever. Other children who survived, Florenct Estelle, Clarence Joyce, Howard Lillis Joyce born 8/28/1872 died 10/21/52, and olive mae born 12/20/1881. Family moved back to New York and then to Waterford, Connecticut.

I have been looking for my grandmother Bessie Joyner for a couple of years. Had no luck. Bessie was born in Nash county, N.C.in August 22, 1892, Died, 1955 Married Fred Herbert Sutton , October 16, 1910 in Wilson, N.C. I was told that my grandmother was born a Joyner ,but on her grave she has Bessie Bissette, so I am not sure whether she was born a Joyner or Bissette. I was told that her parents were: Jim and Tressa Joyner. But they be the ones that raised her. Not sure and if anyone can HELP me out in any way , please email. If you know any Joyner that are doing genealogy, please let me know !!!

Joseph Jurgelowicz born about 1882 and died about 1960 inMatawan, New Jersey. Joseph married Rosalie Rejko. He may have come ino the Unted States through Canada, settled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved to Jersey City, New Jersey. Their children are Mary, Catherine, Stanislau, Rose, Blanche,Agnes, Frank, Leon, and Joseph. Catherine Jurgelowicz Miller is my grandmother. Any information about the family would be helpful.
