he went by his middle name lafayette hagewood,he was born 1838 to ben and sarah hagewood,they moved to missouri and micheal married a sarah catherine proctor,daughter of moses proctor,michael and sarah had a daughter sarilda clementine hagewood,born 1860 sarah died 1870 mo. michael was union in cival war he went in 1861 and discharged 1865 he then lived in stone co.mo.for a year or so,then to benton ark for a tear or two,then to cherokee nation lived there for 4 years then he went to choctaw nation,stringtown and remarried to a mary jane wilson with this marriage had 5 children.i am from his 2 marriage line.
i am searching for his cherokee connections any help would be greatful

I am also looking for a Thomas Hall. I am hoping you might have ran across him in your search for yours. Mine was married to Sarah Strosnider about 1803 in Shenandoah Co., Va. They had the following children: Hannah, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Bennett, Moses, James, and Thomas Hampton. Thomas died in Shenandoah Co., Va, on Dec. 13, 1829. Sarah died in Guthrie Co., Iowa. They were my great great great grandparents. Any information you might have would be very helpful on this Thomas Hall.
