Summer Projects for Future Family Historians

Summer is here and school has been out for about a week. Although my daughter was chosen to take some expanded studies
classes that are offered through the local schools, they are only half-day classes, and like other parents and
grandparents, I'm already hearing, “What can I do? I'm bored.”
I have to take partial blame for her boredom, though. I've already informed her that she will not be spending the summer
with “Sponge Bob” and have established guidelines that severely limit her TV and electronic game time. (Yes, I'm a mean
mom.)
Anticipating this, I have spent some time preparing for this summer and, eager to pass my genealogical obsession on to her,
I've come up with some ideas that will hopefully stir her interest in family history. This week I thought I'd share some
of the things we've come up with so far...
