So Many Ancestors, So Little Time

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had put off searching for my Kelly ancestors in some census records, because at the
time it involved "too much work for too little information." I got several e-mails expressing surprise at this confession
from readers who wondered why I had put off this research for so long.
Throughout the course of our research, we have to make this type of choice. Let's face it, our research time is precious.
Between cleaning out the fridge to make room for Thanksgiving leftovers, and dealing with Haz-Mat representatives who
kindly transported the "mystery meat" I found in the greenish glowing tinfoil to the nearest hazardous waste dump, I barely
had time to look at my family history last week.
With the pressures of the "real world" constantly around us, we often have to do some prioritizing when it comes to our
research strategies. So this week, I'd thought we'd talk about some things to think about when we try to decide on our
