Searching State Censuses
- Juliana Smith
By the time you read this, I’ll be home from the FGS Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, but as I write it, I am making last minute preparations to go.
With the lure of at least a day and a half of research time that I have scheduled for the Family History Library (FHL), the excitement is starting to
build and I’ve already identified quite a few records that I want to seek out while I’m there.
On my previous trips, I’ve done a little browsing in state census records, and one of the things on my to-do list for this trip is to continue those
searches. Since this will require a little pre-preparation, I thought I’d use this week’s column to delve into the subject a bit deeper. So without
further ado, let’s get to it.
