When we last left our heroes in part one of "Silent Pictures," we were discussing how to tell a story without "dialogue."

In the case of the old silent movies, they communicated the story in a number of ways--using body language, expressions, music, captions, and
settings to get the story across. For the most part, we don't have dialogue for our family histories either, but by being resourceful, we can
tell our family's story using a variety of tools that are available to us.
Last week all we got to discuss was setting the stage with background information because someone was too long-winded. (I'm not mentioning any
names . . . O.K., it was me.). This week, we'll take a look at some other ways we can add depth and interest to the family story.
