This database contains images of the pages of William Henry Egle's Notes and Queries, regarded to be amongthe most important work on the genealogy, biography, and history of central Pennsylvania ever published. Thecolumns (and offprints of the columns which appeared in pamphlet form) were reprinted in seven volumes betweenthe years 1894 and 1896. With the five annual volumes for 1896-1900, the complete set of Notes and Queries whichappears on this database totals twelve volumes. Since this database contains a great variety of informationyou may be able to gain a more complete understanding of your ancestors and their lives.
