Those of you who have been reading the Ancestry Daily News for any length of time have probably heard from me and my fellow columnists about researching your ancestors in the context of the times and places in which they lived. It’s one of my favorite aspects of family history and I’m always on the lookout for more information that will bring my ancestors’ lives into clearer focus.
